MAN MACHINE INDUSTRY – BIOGRAPHY

Formed by producer/songwriter/front-man and multi-instrumentalist J. Bergman who has a history as the drummer in SLAPDASH (Nuclear Blast rec) and ROSICRUCIAN (Black Mark Prod).

When the album “BOX OF HORRORS” (2016 KMP) was released the industrial metal style was toned down and there a new journey began for MMI. The album led to a major European tour together with thrash pioneers PRONG from the US and the brand of MMI left scars on metal heads through out Europe. The tour ended on a high note at Gefle Metal Festival followed by yet another frenzy in the studio writing and recording the two albums “REBORN” (2018 GMR Music) and “DOOMSDAY CLOCK“ (2020 GMR Music) which was followed by a short run with brasilian thrashers NERVOSA in Sweden.

During the pandemic lock down MMI wrote and recorded a trilogy of albums which was released with only a year apart.

“ESCHATON I. Reckoning Day” (2022), “ESCHATON II. Judgment Day” (2023) and now “ESCHATON III. End Of Days” 2024.

As on previous albums J.B co-wrote some vocal melodies with producer/songwriter Erik Mårtensson (ECLIPSE) and on each album there where guest vocalists such as Dave Hill from NWOBHM legends DEMON, David White from American thrashers HEATHEN “R.I.P”, Sabrina Khilstrand from the classic thrash band ICE AGE and Jens C. Mortensen from CARNAL FORGE whom also portraid the voice of character President Doomsday who apeared on each album art work.

Regarding the MMI sound and stule of today we are talking about some classic heavy metal with a thrashy edge in both melody and aggression.

It’s a powerhouse filled with riffs, attitude, energy and dynamics.
