A FEW WORDS FROM J. BERGMAN ON “BOX OF HORRORS”
“This album was all joy to write and record… well, maybe not ALL of it but close enough.
When I wrote the EP “The Cross” back in 2014 I embarked a path to nurse my love
for classic heavy metal. The kind of music I grew up and loved so much. “BOX OF HORRORS” is a continuing of the very same path, and I really think I found what I was looking for in its sound as well as emotion, performance and melody.
I have always had some thrash metal influence in my songs but on this album I had to take a step away from that due to that I, nowadays, also play and write thrash metal for the band REIGNSAW and I did not want the two bands to sound too much alike.
So I made this album heavier and more melodic than anything I ever written before.
It still got the industrial and orchestral arrangements combined with the energyof thrash metal and the bar has been raised in sound, performance and melody without letting the essence of aggression suffer.
I think this album is without a doubt the strongest MMI creation so far.
I chose to play all instruments my self on the album because I love to play music.
People may think it is an ego trip but it´s all about my love for the creational process of it all.
From writing the songs to recording them, I just love it and I believe it shows when listening to them.
But, as always, I had some splendid guests on the album (check notes below) and
also some help from my friend and “mentor”, Erik Mårtensson (Eclipse, W.E.T)
on writing the chorus melodies on two of the songs.
When I got writers block or got “performance”-blocked I called Erik, or Anders (bass),
on the phone and he/they pushed and convinced me to embrace my “uniqueness” instead
of trying to sing, play or write like someone else. That uniqueness is what makes MMI so special I guess. It sounds like nothing out there.
It´s like I always say; Music is freedom and freedom is mine to do what I want with.”

are working hard to find a release date for the new album and they planing two new music videos and two lyric videos. The first video will be filmed in four weeks. So you will have to make do with their latest lyric video "Colours", taken from their 4-track EP "THE CROSS".
The bass guitar is now recorded for these thrashers and that means J.B and Sgt Sawyer himself have started writing the story line for the story of Sgt Reginald John Sawyer that surounds the theme of the album, and as soon as the nine chapters done they will start working on the lyrics for the album and record vocals. This is going to be something really special!
The Pansar recording has been draged out some due to that one of the guitarists, Ronnie Nyman, is going on a tour with his other band NIGHTRAGE, but as soon as he is back the recording process of the guitars will continue.
PANSAR is going in to the studio on may 31st. The band will record twelve songs of which nine or ten will be on their debut album due to be released this fall.
The band consist of Ronnie Nyman(Nightrage, Always War, Tria) and Peter Waites(Fistfull Of Rage) on guitars. Ted Mattsson on bass and J. Bergman (Man.Machine.Industry, Reignsaw) on vocals. On this recording J. Bergman will also play the drums. Drums will be recorded at Studio SoulNoise just outside Stockholm, Sweden.
Thrash metal band REIGNSAW are just about to finish the process of tracking both lead and rhythm guitars by Petri Kussisto(Carnal Forge) and Magnus Söderman(Slapdash). As soon as this is 100% done, bass player and producer J. Bergman will start tracking the bass and along side with that starts the work on the vocals.
You can check out a short video clip from the studio with Magnus and Petri tracking guitars and jaming it out here.
The fourth full length album from Swedens industrial heavy metal band number 1 is finally finished. The album is recorded at studio Killing Machine(except drums recorded at Studio Blowout) by producer, songwriter, front man J. Bergman who plays all instruments on this album except for a few guest apearances. More on that closer to the release which will be early fall of 2015.
Hi and welcome to the KILLING MACHINE PRODUCTIONS web site.
I´m a producer, songwriter, multi instrumentalist but first and foremost, I am a FAN of music. I have managed to gather some of, in my opinion, Sweden's best and most talented musicians and songwriters for these five bands under the KMP flag and without them this would be impossible.
The name Killing Machine Productions comes from one of my favorite albums by the band JUDAS PRIEST and their 1978 album Killing Machine.
Under the KMP flag you can find out everything you need to know about the bands and their music.
The vision of the KMP site is to manage the bands from here instead of having separate web sites for them all. There are also a KMP You Tube where all their videos are posted.
KMP is a registered company and aim to work with record labels, promotion companies, promoters and distributors to get the music out there. In other words, this is NOT a record label. KMP is a “music production company” and a management for the bands under the KMP flag.
Spread the word, support the artists live, share links, videos and buy merchandise. Without your support our music is meaningless!
